Every business has a driving motivation, and at Sweet Licks Barkery, ours can be found sleeping on our kitchen rugs. Our brand was not built around corporate spreadsheets or market research; it was inspired by the real, everyday health journeys of our three rescue companions: Lucy, Phoebe, and Tito. Watching them manage chronic food sensitivities and structural health challenges forced us to look closely at commercial pet treats, leading us to discover the many hidden fillers and shortcuts utilized across mainstream manufacturing.
Transitioning our rescue pack to a diet built entirely on pure, single-protein, farm to bowl ingredients brought about a remarkable turnaround that shaped our entire formulation philosophy.
